The world of fashion is open to the public with a mission to donate the events’ profit to important charity projects like the horrible earthquake in Central Italy the summer night of 24 August this year.
After eight consecutive years of Vague Italia’s success, it was our first time to participate in this event. When you live in Milan, and it is a normal day of the week the only thing you want to do after a day of work is stay at home probably prepare a light dinner, watch downloaded movie and chill. This time people in Milan embrace this event with enthusiasm. So we went to the city center to witness what this program is all about. This is one of the important dates on fashion calendar. But for us, it is a simple excuse to share another memorable experience to see each other again – all girls complete.(Yes!)
It was a fun and cool experience. Milan cobbled street was full of well dressed people struggling to walk! The shops were open till late. The open air party – free entrance, with DJ sets, and concert brought the crowd up on its feet. We scream, clap and laugh our ass off. While others just stood and watch.
Returning home is a bit of a hassle, since none of us has a private transport. Metro closed at 12:30 midnight but there is a night bus that goes to regular metro stops. Each night out with girls were always accompanied with a fatigue no matter what kind of shoes we wear. But this is another experience we will never forget. The long time waiting, the music, the drink and the atmosphere but the event is well organise and it’s definitely an experience worth attending!
